Why We Opened a studio on the Mesa
This is our Neighborhood. This is our Community.
Long before we opened our doors, The Yoga Collective was a pop-up yoga community.
For years, we partnered with local businesses throughout Santa Barbara, bringing yoga to rooftops, wineries, coffee shops, parks, and community spaces. Those experiences taught us something important: people weren't just showing up for yoga—they were showing up for connection.
We saw friendships form after class, conversations continue over coffee, and strangers become familiar faces. We realized what people were really looking for wasn't another workout. They were looking for a place to belong.
That's what inspired us to create a permanent home on the Mesa.
Santa Barbara has plenty of places to exercise. We wanted to create something different—a neighborhood studio where movement is only part of the experience. A place where teachers know your name, beginners feel just as welcome as lifelong yogis, and class doesn't have to end when savasana does.
Our hope is that The Yoga Collective becomes part of your weekly rhythm. A place where you move your body, reconnect with yourself, and slowly become part of a community that feels like home.
Whether you've lived on the Mesa for years, recently moved to Santa Barbara, or you're simply looking for a place where you'll be greeted with a smile and a familiar face, we're saving you a spot.
Welcome to The Yoga Collective.
Come for the Yoga. Stay for the Community.
Oh my gosh this studio is a total gem! Welcoming, gorgeous lighting and ambiance, intimate and small class sizes, lots of variety and class times, ideal location and I always leave feeling so glowy and nourished!! I love the when the instructor hands out lavender face cloths during savasana.

The best yoga studio in Santa Barbara! I'm so glad this studio exists! I love the instructors & the space, feels like a warm hug every time I come. Between the price, the cleanliness, the authentic & kind energy~ I always leave feeling refreshed & look forward to my next visit before I'm even gone. Highly recommend, there's nothing else like it in town

MembershipFAQ’s
Do I need yoga experience to join?
Not at all. Whether you’re stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or have been practicing for years, everyone is welcome. Our teachers offer options throughout class so you can move at a pace that feels right for your body.
What is the Fall Reset?
The Fall Reset is your invitation to experience The Yoga Collective for two weeks with unlimited classes for $50. We created it to give you enough time to try different classes, meet our teachers, and start building a routine—not just take one class and leave.
What happens after my Fall Reset ends?
After your two weeks, you can choose the option that works best for you, whether that’s continuing with a membership, class pack, or drop-in classes. There’s no pressure—we simply hope you find a practice and community that feels like home.
What classes are best for beginners?
If you’re new to yoga, we recommend starting with Our Sunday Reset or Melt (Yin + Slow Flow Fusion). That said, beginners are welcome in every class. Our teachers are here to support you and help you feel comfortable.
What should I bring to my first class?
Just yourself and comfortable clothing. We have mats and props available, so you can show up without needing to purchase anything before your first class.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many of our members walked through the door by themselves for the first time. One of our favorite things about The Yoga Collective is watching people arrive as strangers and leave feeling connected.
Where are you located and is parking available?
We’re located in the Mesa neighborhood of Santa Barbara. We have a parking lot that is located off of Meigs that we share with Corner Tap. Street parking is also available nearby, and many of our community members walk or bike to the studio.
What makes The Yoga Collective different from other studios?
We believe yoga is community first and movement second. We’re not just a place to take a class—we’re a neighborhood space where people know each other’s names, build routines, and find a place to belong.
